Manisha Koirala's grueling Heeramandi scene: 12 hours immersed in water leaves actress exhausted

Manisha Koirala, known for her role as Mallikajaan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi, has garnered praise for her portrayal despite mixed reviews of the film. Recently, she opened up about the challenges she faced while shooting for the series, particularly during what she called the "most physically challenging" scene.

Testing physical limits:

Manisha described a grueling fountain sequence that required her to be immersed in water for over 12 hours. Despite the warm and clean water initially provided by the production team, it eventually turned muddy due to various crew members entering the fountain for scene setup. Manisha recounted how every pore of her body soaked in the muddy water, pushing her to the brink of exhaustion. Despite the physical strain, Manisha found solace in her ability to endure the demanding shoot. She expressed deep happiness and a sense of accomplishment, knowing that her body had withstood the stress and emerged resilient. Her experience serves as a testament to the power of perseverance and determination in the face of adversity.
